Job Description:
THE ROLE IS FOR LOCAL NORWEGIANS ONLY
You will have experience with seismic data interpretation proving valuable input for new acquisition planning and survey design. You will be a key link between technical teams in the oil companies. Experience with sales and business development is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Data interpretation and prospect generation
- Support in design of new multi-client project opportunities
- Assisting in preparation of business cases
- Providing input to the project design, acquisition and processing
- Support Sales and Marketing department with securing project pre-funding
- Support marketing and sales of new and existing multi-client data
- Assist in quality control and validation for partner MC projects
Requirements:
- 7+ years' relevant industry experience, oil service company or oil company
- Good regional knowledge of key hydrocarbon basins
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Educated as a Geologist or Geophysicist
- Ability to manage multiple projects and sometimes tight deadlines
